Recent Events
We asked God to teach us about healing in 2007, and to release healing into our midst. We determined to learn by doing, so we began to pray for the sick regularly at the Vineyard. Here are a few stories of people touched by the loving hand of God:
Spinal Pain Relieved: One woman had suffered from growths on her spine, which produced disabling pain. She had not been able to work for a long time. God touched her back, the growths went away, and two days later returned to her job, pain free.
Hearing Restored: Early in 2007 a baby boy was born to one of the families in our community--he was diagnosed with sever hearing loss in both ears--nearly total in one ear, and 80% in the other. The parents prayed, his older brothers prayed and fasted, and there was community-wide prayer on multiple occasions. After several months his hearing has been fully healed in both ears.
Cancer Gone: One of our Kinship groups has reached out to a neighbor who does not attend the Vineyard. He was diagnosed with cancer and his condition was deteriorating. After prayer by the people in the Kinship, his next check-up revealed no cancer whatsoever.
